Troubleshooting Issues With MY MDAC Go

We may be able to resolve your query here and now. Here are some of the most common questions we are asked:

Do I need to apply if I am a resident of Malaysia? Toggle faqs

No, if you have permanent residency in Malaysia or hold a Long-Term Pass, you do not need to complete the MDAC.

The MDAC is required by foreign visitors rather than residents.

Do I need to have a flight booked to register for the MDAC? Toggle faqs

It is highly recommended to book your flight before completing your MDAC.

Although you do not have to provide flight details, you have to state your dates of arrival and departure. If you enter a date, but later book flights for different dates, you may encounter problems on arrival. In this case, you should re-register for a new MDAC.

To avoid this, it is best to book flights before completing your MDAC.

I haven’t received the email with my application yet. What should I do? Toggle faqs

It can take up to 1-2 days to process the MDAC and send the email to you.

If it has been longer than 1 or 2 days(SLA), check your junk or spam folder to make sure it has not been sorted into one of these by your email account.

If you still cannot find the email, contact us immediately using the contact form.
